Life is a two way thing,

You dont always give when you receive and you dont immediately receive when you give.

Well not that kind of two way thing.

Two way in such a way that everything has two sides to it.

There are always two paths and the results you earn trace back to the chosen path.

Either right or wrong,

You choose a good path that leads to a destiny and the bad path also leads to a destiny.

Some lives are purposed to teach others life lesssons and some lives are purposed to learn and teach others how to learn from mistakes.

Always choose the right path,it pays well.
Every travelled route has a destination.

Velvet Night
JaxSpade May 2019
The night was velvet
Goose bumps arrived
While nails slide across the chalkboards
Habit

Screeching
Everone was reaching
For their eardrums
                     Grabbin'

And I was sittin in the middle of this scene
Sandwhiched

I took out my note pad
And started scribblin
              Some scrabble
And here is what I wrote
In the bibble of my babble
~

The night was velvet
Soft in deep colors
And I was visually drowning
In the sea of misunderstanding
With the rest of the others

They wanted me to describe
The drastic destiny of why
We are all here

And when will we all die

On the last night you remembered
                            The night was velvet

The touch that affected you different
You felt that moment

The purpose of you being
Was alive in the breath you spoke
And when you spoke it
You said you'd die

When the life around you exploded

I couldn't question the answer
So I answered the question
Life is just a history of  lesssons

To test your knowledge of learning
What the gift is

And you've learned
The night was velvet

A soft downey skin
Tufted along the fabric of life in sin

When will this all end
As the goosebumps spark fear
In my head hoping I'm not accountable
For everything I did

I think about all I have read
And hope that it is adequate

But I feel the only thing that I've learned

Is...

The night was velvet
Ayush Mukherjee Dec 2019
Early in the morning,
Through the smog,
I saw a man selling books,
While on jog.
He carried the heavy load around,
Asking people to buy one being loud,
Little did he care,
That people would shun him ignoring his despair.
To this old man none,
Offered neither a seat but shunned,
For earning a living by selling,
Instead of the easiest task of begging.
"O old man"
I asked thee,
"Why do you keep sell books instead of just asking for a penny?",
To which he replied truly,
"This world would be blind without me. For knowledge is a gift I sell through these books many stories I have, to tell
The world may not acknowledge me
But I do my job thinking of my family.
Always makes me forget the misery"
Today I learn't that
Whatever in life comes be,
One must never think and never suffer the poisonous hand of stress and anxiety,
For only through pain can one realize,
The importance of life, love, happiness and family
