The crowd became more chaotic,
many shouts were quite obscene;
I'd like to paint a picture,
of the Crucifiction scene.
~
On the top of a steep hill,
was a place called Calvary;
There stood three wooden Crosses,
with Jesus in between.
~
Just imagine, if you will,
the pain that Christ endured;
He was bleeding most profusely,
it was dripping onto the dirt.
~
His flesh, it hung in ribbons,
from His body, they did beat;
They drove two nails into His hands,
and one into His feet.
~
His unsightly beard had been pulled,
He'd been cursed and spat upon;
He endured this for all of Mankind,
this One who had done nothing wrong.
~
Could I endure the pain He felt,
could I gladly lay down my life;
Only one man could have done all this,
and His name is Jesus Christ!

The mannish boy I am
the boy you see before you stand
unless you hear the cry
you could'nt understand
you cannot see
for you
do not believe
as I stand right here
right here before you
you refuse to see
depiction
restriction
inside our crucifiction
as our lord let us live
oh' he let us live
but not with him
only within'
if that is what you wish
but is that what you wish ?
his eyes is of sadness
for we, the people
are the murderes of sin
born to good and evil
saints of insanity
devils of reality
so why do we keep
on forgetting
for the rest of our lives

Our words are but codes
to emotions as we feel
can you decipher mine
can you feel what I feel
grasp what you may,
I cannot promise you tomorrow, only today..
and with that - we yearn for a way
an insight to our lives
gained through heartache and pain
so I ask again
do you feel what I feel
my lover, my mother, my lord and my friend
whichever you are
may you enrich
may you seed and sow
with the tears of the rain
from above and down below
for all is known in the shade of light
the shade of light will shine bright
on the promised night
but only for you
and those who hold the truth
insight

Ascension isn't possible
here
crucifixion only executes the ill
A barrenness cradles only absence
ickle infant obese in its murderous skin
******* its thumbs smell the
generations of sourness
a sliced lemon sits in her right eye
bitter bitter bitter
ascension isn't possible
here
crucifiction only executes the ill
sometimes the pain is a relief
i can stop grieving for a moment
im not mourning me
im crying for what could have been
there is a wisdom in agony
that allows the penitent to make his atonement
no regrets is a fallacy
when one comes face to face with eternity

Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday is the Christian celebration of the resurrection
of Jesus of Nazareth from his crucifiction on Good Friday.
If you are not a christian or even if you consider yourself to be one,
and do not place much belief as to whether or not this event actually
took place, but is symbolic in nature, have nothing to be apologetic for.
For those of you who do totally believe in this miracle, because your faith
says to that you do believe, I will not ever challenge. The more important
issue to me, go back two spaces, is Good Friday, as it is called. This day
has much more significance to me.
Jesus, no matter how you perceive his person to be, Son of God,
or King of the Jews, or a not so normal politician, performed a function,
that benefited all of mankind. Whether or not he absolved the sins of
man is up to the believers. What he provided mankind, is measurable and
unmeasurable at the same time. He was the pioneer of Human Rights.
His teachings caused the revolution of thought. His actions stirred the
thoughts of a yearning civilization to reach for higher goals. To bring
attention of the elitist of the world, that they will be held accountable for
their actions, somewhere, sometime. To give a hope to the struggling
peoples of this world. For this, I give thanks and will always look inside
my heart to find what is right.
There will be those of you who read this, that think I am a total idiot.
That I really have no knowledge of what I am speaking. I say to you
that you are probably right, but I welcome your thoughts on this,
and I feel that this is exactly what I am presenting to you, about the
significance of this entire weekend.
Happy Easter everyone, whatever your beliefs.

Oh how silly we       Seem

Searching for love  where
                                 Love              can't
                                                be        found

Running from Love

                                               always         Awaits

Like we are the            Stupidest

And so you came and left Alabama
     on words that blew sharply
piercing even the most covered ear
Great cities welcomed you
  and some did not
Pride from a long struggle
     finally subdued anger
      bringing about a glimpse
      of  worldwide hope for everyone
       and all the poor

Prophetic visions were shouted
in strength to all four corners of the globe

Yet a crucifiction was waiting
for you in the guise of a missile

And too early a wheat was
razed,
    and the loaf became bitter
Your body was passed from mind to mind
as we ate of your bitter loaf

And so the drums were struck
  And so the cadence bowed
And so the tears were shed
And so a brother in spirit was dead...

All colors mixed in unison-
and out from that dark gloomy cloud
appeared a rainbow
          And rain tear-cheeks dried
and a resurrection of pride
soon flooded the country-
We all became baptised
                    in blood and truth...

yes he came
from
the city of Bethlehem
he shed his blood
for me
then
he died upon the cross
for the sins of man and
for the world to witness
for the world to see
about his crucifiction
and unkind death
up on the
Hill of Calvary
and on the third day
Jesus was resurrested thus
he return to sit at the right hand of
the father almighty God
where he shall return again
to redeem
the unrighteous world of
mankind and
be recognized
only by those
who have been
saved and washed
in the blood of Jesus
amen and
thank you
Jesus
for all
you have
done for me
