Past

It vaporizes.
The past
just fades.
Fades
away, like
water when
a wave passes.
It’s remembered
or so
thought.
Memories
hold,
reinforce.
Yet, the
past
no longer
exists.
No longer
tangible.
It’s gone.
Like a wave,
once past
blends back.
What’s to
come,
wells up.
Welling up
from the
ether.
Energy creates
then fades,
reabsorbed.
Reabsorbed
back to
the ether,
as a wave
to water.
Back to
probability.
Back to
a different
place.
A place not
understood.
Back to the
origin of
things to
be recycled.
Recycled
either here
or there.
Reused by
creation.
We reduce our words
To merely talking
Happiness is your birthright
And mellow are the landmines
That blow up all your skies

My Love, stay with me until
my arms cannot hold you
my eyes cannot return your smile
my heart beats its final goodbye
then, keep me close in your heart

Alone in a folding
wing of sun again,
where Scotch passes lips
straight to an idling blood.
If you worried, don't -
I ate another day without you.

Odyssey
what Odyssey?
here I am
I stand free

life is real
not mythology
I breathe, I feel
I live---I long to be

why the distant waters?
deep enough herein I could see
why seek will-o'-the wisp
chasing the impossibility?

I claim to be no hero
in my vulnerability
all that I should do
is to embrace that which is before me.

shadows are
happy when

we dance
they are

no longer
foreboding

specters of
what follows us

but dreams of
what we can be

when we let
ourselves dance

I held tight to peace
In my search of relief
But she still
Spilled discreet
From a hole underneath
