The Immaculate Conception
is a trick of deception because
all were conceived incubated
gestated and delivered (albiet
prematurely by a caesarian)
just in time for 2021 as people
were loosing their 2020 vision.

Added to that being Lockdown
Winter and a general depression
of the manipulated masses who
have been made to succumb and
will therefore be queueing with
up rolled sleeves begging to be
saved by BIG PHARMA who is
watching them at all times via
the anode and cathode ray tubes
which 99.99% of households have
therefore the opiation is complete.

If some poems were bridges,
let us assume suspension, just
as an example, the safety factor
of 9 (which is the code for such)
would need to be increased.

By increasing the safety factor,
the bridge would need to be made
stronger and heavier, thus defeating
the factor as the supports would be
under too much pressure due to length.

Since the collapse of the Bridge in Genoa,
I am conscious of these structures even as
I pass under them. Poems can be just as
daunting, especially long winded ones which
I never read and I never write due to attention span.

The gloom of todays cloud has
cast a shadow on my resolve.

There is an autumnal light, but
yet without its vibrant colours.

The wind is playing a monotone
wail against the windows.

Hence, I find myself in a strange
place between thought and being.

Am I sensing a premonition perhaps,
or is this merely a global conditioning.

A ray of light has just managed to
escape the cumulus of captivity.

I want to give you a pause

of my mind, the indecision bit

             that leaves a space vacant

               for confusion, that silent

             contemplation, as thought

               passes through process

            filters that have a different

                   diameter to yours.

I want to give you a pause

           of my mind because often

          I’m overwhelmed and prone

to despair at my inability to

           unlearn what nobody has

            taught me and therefore

              they are incapable of

               ever understanding.

I want to give you a pause

           of my mind because the

          sprockets of my cognitive

          are not functioning in the

           same sequence as your

chain which is why I try

            so often to freewheel,

        yet, you insist on pedalling.

I want to give you a pause

of my mind as I contradict

           Paul Cezane who said

       that there were no straight

lines in nature but I’m both

      a lateral and vertical thinker.

   What about suspended spiders?

I want to give you a pause

of my mind and if you are so

considerate not to park in areas

     allocated for the disabled then

you have seen a sign and

      empathise with their affliction.

So, now that you have read the

poem here is the promised pause.

We are not as dumb as

Rabbits who sit in the

Centre of the road and

Get dazzled by lights.

But then again we are

Not as smart as we’d

Like to think we are.

Because even though

We are nocturnal like

The rabbits, we have

For some reason or

Other permitted these

Humans to domesticate

Us, lock us up at night.

They make us **** in a

Sand box that they call

Kitty litter which stinks

After days of ***** that

Only gets cleaned out

When it begins to annoy

Them. Dogs are smarter.

They won’t buy into that

Indoctrination, they will

Do a dump on the carpet

If they are not the out for

A lovely walk in the park.

I wish I was a ca-nine

Even if I only had 1 life !
