Diamond tears
trip down ivory cheeks,
running rivulets
through ruby lips
before pooling
in palms of alabaster.
She paints a picture
of beautiful sorrow.
Would she still cry
if she could see
how I see her?
I place a crown
Of beautiful blooms
Upon her golden head.
To me,
The blooms are a pale
Imitation
Of her natural beauty.
All she sees
Is a thorn
Among flowers
Trying to show my little daughter how beautiful she is after a boy told her she was fat yesterday & her heart was broke the wee pet **
She cried for you
And all you could do
Was extract the salt
From her tears
To rub into her wounds
Like stained glass,
She was breathtakingly beautiful
But easily broken
Nocturnal creatures
Eagerly anticipate
Time to reign supreme
If I'm a prisoner of love
Then please feel free
To lock me up & throw away the key.

But what's obvious
To those with eyes to see,
Is that love was the one to set me free
When you read my words
Do you hear the beat of my heart?
Do you see the colour of my soul?
Do you feel the strength of my emotion?
Do you sense the hurt beyond the smile?
Do you relate to my inherent hope?
Do you know how much I love?

I bleed upon these pages
So you might see
That while you've never met me
You know me
Just full of love for all my HP friends tonight :)
She was a lioness;
All sleek lines
And mesmerising grace
Capped with a deadly intent.
He was an antelope
Caught in the headlights
And oh so *****.
One thing's for sure.

She's gonna eat him for breakfast
Just for fun
These scarlet pages
Soaked in sadness
Tell a story
Of pain and grief
Unspoken.
Today, we write
Upon clean sheets.
