When people look at me
I wonder what they say
But maybe I am better off
Not knowing, in this way

They tell us go to school
Better yourself this way
But how am I gaining
When I lose myself each day

Walking through the halls
Whispers can be heard
School can be torture
If you are deemed a nerd

Bullying free zone
That's what the teachers say
They don't see it as it happens
But we see it every day

What if I could just end it
One girl asks on the brink
As she picks up her razor
And sits down on the sink

A second and I'll be done
Never to hear again
The question isn't "Will it happen?"
It should just be "When?"

So if you see a person
Sitting there alone
Sit down right beside them
Show them that they're known
Bullying happens, just let someone know that they are not alone...

mother earth
Scared by human deed
her beauty fade to endless greed
her arms of green sent to mill
her rivers of life waste to fill
her eyes in smog lost its hue
oil spills hurt her sea blue
end doth her life without care
oh doth hearts her pain to share
green grasses frail and fail
Human deed acid hail
Art of human her face doth scar
tis our earth her end not far
call ye oh hearts to think
save her from extinctions brink
Real women will blow your mind
Real women will never leave you behind

Real women will shout if you can't hear their voice
Real women will show you the way
Real women will charm your soul
Real women will smile with their eyes
Real women will know when you lie
Real women are not ashamed to cry
Real women will feel your deepest pain
Real women are not as fragile as you think
Real women are not afraid to tell the truth
Real women are not hiding behind their strengths
Real women do not show off their beauty
Real women are proud of their flaws
Real women do have beautiful souls
Real women do glow in the dark
Real women do know what they want
Cause Real woman, they love with their heart

Words have power.
We all know this.

Verbs have power
because without verbs
we can neither laugh nor cry,
neither run nor walk;
we cannot breathe,
nor even be,
without a verb.
A noun too has power
because with it we have, in a sense,
mastery of the object, the person, or the feeling
that we name.
Even an adjective has power,
for it qualifies the noun,
fleshes it out,
makes it more our possession.
A conjunction,
small, insignificant,
you might think
without power,
but ....

All words have power.
We know this,
or we would not be writing poetry.

You plant
A seed in me
Every time
I see you and
Spring is coming

Treacherous Love
Acidiferous love
Billion faces of love
Adulterous love

The love starting in a *****
The love ending in a blink

Aligerous love
Anserous love
The Lethal weapon of love
Poisonous love

Armiferous love
Astriferous love
Sacred prayer of love
Blasphemous love

Treacherous Love
Poisonous love
Delusions of love
Asperous Love...

The setting sun still blazes
A white hot disc
It's final defiant rays
Shaped and shifted
By the softly sailing layers of cloud
And feathers and threads of vapour
All reflected as glinting sequins
Upon the sparkling sea
As it softly  rolls and splashes
Rattling pebbles and empty shells
Invading and the disappearing beach
Seasoning the air
With salty spray to sharpen the senses
And the ceaseless rhythm of the murmuring tide
Stirs and caresses the soul
And whispers of a million memories
Time and tide and ocean
At peace in endless motion

Amidst the flames,
The star wailed -

"Fate, oh, fate,

this isn't how

the arms of the flames

shall flicker off

my wait."

The murmurs of mortified stars
Blended along the curtains of sky,
Brushing the night with streaks of auburn,
As they shined their goodbye.

Fate replies,

"Tonight,

We shall cover thee,

in the shrouds

of sacrifice,

Stardust coloring

the elderly night."

With one last frown of luster,
She - the star - found her deathbed,
Held high at the peak of the fire,
And the ashes of the story she bled.

•••• •••• ••••

On the opposite side of the mountain,
The moon sang of midnight on and on,
His words cherished for only one star,
One whom the late hours always adorned.

"I shall offer

my lullabies, your dowry

to the divine throne,

In the grooves

with more shadows

than light

we'll be at home."

"Under my light

you'll never be dim,

In every galaxy

celestial bodies will bow,

The sky's a limitless

ocean for you to swim,

Cause the moon

has found a temptress

somehow..."

A view of moths around a flame,
The indigo night turning orange,
The moon's face rendered forlorn,
To demand the news he gasped for courage.

Crowned with dawn appeared the sun,
And all the stars dimmed with fear,
The moon widowed from his only love,
Prayed this morning would disappear.

~ "Oh why ... oh fate,

I demand

my star back."

~ "The sky shall

celebrate

your little star's

trip to the zodiac."

Replied fate punctuating his answer
With the awakening of the emigrant birds,
All traces of yesterday now gone,
All traces of his star nowhere to be heard.

•••• •••• ••••

Away from the world,
The moon wrote with silver ink,
He sang of the could have been's,
Of his star, he shall always think.

"In my mind

you've build

your chamber,

For my eyes

you've ruined

beauty,

For I will always

think of how

you burned amber,

The whole

universe now

So empty."

"The night

inspired me

to become your hero,

During the day

I'd disappear

to chant my plans,

But fate

made you

your own

Hero,

Before I was

ever

given the

Chance."
