I've got your ashes in a box on the shelf.

Sometimes I look at it to remind myself.

I see the pictures that we took when you lived,

Before you became a box on the shelf.

They remind me of the memories,

like a seance with the dead,

all the things that you said

flow through my head

when I see that box again.
