When love find you
You will know

Flowers will grow From fingers
Palms full of soil a scent that
Lingers and leads

You will not be afraid
To toil in loves garden

You will come as water
You will come as seeds
You will come as whatever
Love needs you to be

And
love will come
As whatever you need
Love to be
Bending to each other’s burden

All life
all light
strange and ready.

Talking Back
I cannot help but compare people to plants.

We are born,
Blooming throughout our lives
We sow seeds and bear fruit.

Like trees,
We take root spreading far and wide
And yet we wither and die in the same soil

Even still,
The flower petals dance through the sky
And our greatest adventure continues.

Spending time with your wife and children is far more important than spending money on them.

Don't repeat your old mistakes..Analyse and learn from them but at the same don't be afraid to make new ones.

One day bleeds
into the next

Leaves wounds
that won’t heal
measures our moments
into finite statements
that knit the hours
into a tapestry of tedium

Where is the joy
I was promised?
Where
the lively waltz?

I grieve before every hour
and bend before fate’s great weight
tremble incessantly
and starve in the midst of plenty

Yet I hold my head up
march on
determined to reach that far shore
where fate will take us
and luck will leave us.
