Dec 2014
I’m in your zone.

Even in the company of others,
I stand alone.
Gasping and grasping for a sliver of you.

You were in my veins, in my thoughts, and you were my actions.
I lay down at night, with immortal fright.
Too afraid to turn off the light.

I stare in the mirror, so cliche.
You hit me to the ground using only your lips.
Just to pick me up and let me stumble back down.
