I have chosen the path which has led me here,
a path full of pain, sorrow, happiness and fear.

I cannot complain of my present situation,
for it was I who chose my destination.

I have, I admit, chose the wrong path to wander,
thoughts of what the other path held conjures.

I cannot complain of my present situation,
for it was I who chose my destination.

I can feel the destruction of my very self continuing,
with each new path I choose for my endeavoring.

I cannot complain of my present situation,
for it was I who chose my destination.

I fear the next road I may venture on my travels,
the angst of it all with each hour unravels.

But I will not complain of my situation,
for it is I that leads myself to each new destination....
This was written years ago, although looking at it now, I wonder if I should have called it, "Life Without a GPS"?
