We all have this vision of our lives,
With dreams hopes and aspirations
We think we know what we want and need
But somewhere along the journey
We find something worth so much more.
For me it was my wife.
She came into my life so quickly
And changed me to the core
My work and interests were replaced
My selfish dreams became no more
Slowly but sure our lives changed together
Our love evolved as did our needs
I still have goals and dreams in mind
That I chase less than before.
On this path that I take
I learned something more
No matter what road you are on,
You never know what it’s truly for.
