"I'm alone in this world, with god
by my side.
I miss the hugs, the kisses, and the roller coaster rides.
To be kids once again, surrounded with all that joy.
Choosing sides for a baseball game, and never wanting to let
go of your favorite toy.
Time had passed so quickly, like so many leaves that fall
from the trees.
They float through the air, then are blown away
just as the recent years.
Memories company my loneliness, some
wonderful, some sad.
Yet it's the memory of you that makes my
alone seem it's not all that bad."
