I've never known the romantic kind of love. But I know you sat there and listened to the nonsensical words that flooded from my mouth and somehow found their way to your ears. You showed me my worth and taught me awareness. I saw your perspicacious judgement and wondrous direction as a beacon. Even though you've left, the memories of you keep me warm when I am shivering with salty tears seeping through my lips. I look up at the same galaxy that you are under and I hope you see me in the burning stars and you join them up like dot-to-dots to form the first letter of my name which is also yours.
