Apr 2014
the moon is not the only one awake tonight
for we are wide eyed
and you are curled up,
like a newborn kitten,
and covered in a blanket,
as thick as our words.

my kisses cover your face
like millions of glowing constellations
in this night sky
but you still do not love me
the way i love you.
