"Some kids remember their childhood as a time of happiness.
I remember mine as a time of waiting.
Waiting for the yelling to stop.
Waiting for the doors to stop slamming.
Waiting for someone to finally look at me and ask if i was okay..
But no one did.
I wasn't a daughter..
I was just an audience to a war
I never wanted to be a part of....."
just a audience of a war that i never wanted...
