Sunlight beams down on us,
as we stand side by side,
wearing matching outfits,
laughing.
Sure siblings are supposed to hate each other,
but, in that moment,
we were more than just siblings.
We were two hearts,
soaring high in the sky,
ready to face the world,
together.
This goes out to my siblings. Even though we have now grown a little more apart, I still care just as much.
