The weight of my thoughts bear down like heavy rain,
As your memory floods each passing breath,
While reflections dance across my windowpane,
And every hour swells to a deeper depth.

These tears won't wash away your trace,
But, this emptiness expands with every heartbeat,
Time stretches in this lonely space,
Where echoes of your voice repeat.

My heart is bleeding colours into grey,
The world moves on but, I remain.
Caught in the web of what I cannot say,
Lost to the hours that silence detains.
