It’s hard to hold on
to good health and spirit
when everyone around you
have thrown in the towel.
I reckon there was just too many
painful weary miles.

In this world of adrenal rush
eat drink but don’t be a lush.
Come up for air while you can.
Don’t wear out your only hand.

**** no one and hold to your course.
Don’t get caught up in
a state of remorse.

Live in the moment
not in the past.
Such a heavy burden
a victim has had..

I'll put no one into darkness
for their experience in living.
Not while I muster the strength
for my love to keep winning.

Finality has no place in our soul's,
for those who continue on
and steadily grow.
