A glorious sunny
Day in Guyana today
And the little bird's are
Singing so softly
All day and the children

Are so happy today
And the sun is shining
So bright and I'm
Sunny Bridgetown today

And the warm gentle
Breeze blowing softly
All day
And daffodils are smiling
In the warm sunlight
There gently blowing all day and night

And the setting sun
Is so beautiful and peaceful to watch
And it blesses my heart
With everlasting peace and love and Guyana
Is such a beautiful
Sunny warm place and
I'm just sitting watching the
Sunset vanish behind
The blowing palm trees
In this beautiful place.
