She passed along the note
She herself wrote
Grinning, as it was passed
Trying not to gloat
She knew she’d strike a cord
To be loved and adored
She’d do anything to prove her love
Like swallowing a sword
Or maybe not so drastic
But that’s what she’s leaning towards
