Sad Sad Showers
the sun don't shine
anymore
there's only tears
by the score
sad
sad
showers
every day
sad
sad
showers
ever to
display
his leaving shattered
her heart
on the day he did
depart
a love
over and done
a love at end
where is the sun
no solace could
she find
the aching void
so unkind
her life became
gloomy ofΒ shade
grey clouds marring
love's parade
sad
sad
showers
every day
sad
sad
showers
ever to
display
A poem prompted by the word "sad" .
