The Jetty
I used to think
it was our
destiny,
to walk on water
together
Nothin would bring us down
But it's been years
since we sank
below
ocean-spray's
spirited mist
I often
reflect upon our
love lost, like
the buried treasures
trapped in sunken ships
My desire to dig you up,
magically, have you again
Like the crashing waves
that break over
the sharp and rocky jetty
I break
💔
over the memory
of us
this one is so special to my heart,
I had to add one
small addition
