Dec 2020
there was a boy
that i knew for an instant
he was the eye of the hurricane
when it seemed as though i would drown

I lived a life in that week
one which often runs amuck
through the boundless halls of my wandering mind

His laugh
like the harmonious seraphic melodies
which ring through heaven's walls

His Smile
as if you had bottled up
that great reunion of the sun and the horizon in the evening
coming home after a long day

His Eyes,
like brilliant emeralds
reflecting the blossoms of flame
from the burning within me

And for one shining moment
our souls were the earth and the moon
forever entangled
in that infinite waltz through the stars

"RAGE" The Wind Screams
and suddenly I am the hurricane
and the hurricane is me
and my winds billow against myself
and it is dark once again
but I have seen the light.
Julian if you're out there, it's hard to believe that week was 3 years ago now, I wonder if you felt the same as me? And what could have been if we had ran off together...
