I miss those days Being sun-kissed Going to that coffee shop Where I find that old man Every morning Saying "good morning " And asking how am I I get a hot cup of coffee And a morning smile That refreshes all the good feelings In my way home I let my feet choose Where they want to go What road they want to take I see how the wind moves the tree leaves And the petals of those white flowers In front of an old couple’s house How those dandelions Growing next to an abandoned home Completing the view of that white wall Like they are part of it I miss those walks When there is just me , my coffee and the blue skies Walking around Making that nice eye contact with strangers Followed by a smile And never seeing them again My feet took me to these places My memory took me back to visit I seized the moment
