I waited for love to come
I wanted it
For the voice in my heart, I waited
For the sound of her footsteps that approached
Like that of a golden flock,
For her smile that melted my heart like the gentle river current

With the radiation from her soul, I could tell how sweet her heart would be...
The gentleness of her skin was so soft and sweet like Olive oil.
Yes I waited

At first sight, I felt like I knew all of her
My heart left its spot and stood by the door to get a better view
My legs, shaking like they had seen an angel
Wait did I say like...
I stood miles away for words could not denote her beauty

For eyes have not seen
And thoughts could not comprehend what my heart was saying
With each pulse, I felt and each breath I took it was like the earth was on hold.

I was lifeless for a while just because my heart left, it stopped to get a closer view...
It came back and said wait for it
I could tell what was inside of her...
A golden heart
A loving soul
A gentle mind
A milky passion

I could tell I was in love already
I knew not her name nor who she is
But I was in love
I took a step closer 😁
but my feet were so cold 😨
While I was waiting,

The thoughts in my head were of
That smile
The fragrance from her body
The gesture in her walk
The person I saw

But I waited...
I waited and am still waiting
