Dawn breaks and the burden of the day lays heavy on the back

Afraid to rise from bed for fear of taking a wrong step

There's anxiety, worry, guilt

Pain reaches the extremities and the mind is darkened with doubt

Strange how pain persist, how it endure long seasons without relenting

But in the midst of the anguish, there's room for hope

The darkness will lift in its own time

The heart through trials learns patience and trust

Moves carefully taking one small step at a time

There is grace which is sweet to the heart

Melodies of peace and comfort soon intrudes

Promises once distant now seem clear and glows brightly

Love will help lift the burden and cradles the soul in arms of peace
