I am the light that shines in the darkness
Even though i was born out of shadow
I find those who've lost their way
And try to set an example to follow
I may not be the brightest light
But i strive to see a better tomorrow
One filled with joy and happiness
Instead of all this misery and sorrow

So not everything that i do is right
Just like you I've had bad habits
But i fought them off with all my might
I keep my vices from becoming crutches
