Lucent Antagonist
One way
The only way
In all that I do
In all that there is
Proper and correct
Efficient means abundance
or so the narrow thought...
My Pride
My Will
My Way
Or No way at all
Blind to covetousness
Elavate certainties
Clearly the only path
Forging forward
The world steps back
Dogged Determination
Blind to broken path
So certain of alignment
Yet the path could not be more crooked
All is fleeting
All is hurt
Selfish ways and hurtful words
The fall is here and now I see
I never put what's first but me
Is tenderness gone?
Compassion I deserve not?
I seek these gifts of virtue
For me from those have nought
Gifts so many squandered
albeit a temporary time
If hope exist and faith persists
perhaps we change the mind
So now what's next?
Quite simple seeing eyes
Get out of your way
Let go let Grace
Take the wheel and drive
Give up control
Embrace the change
Thy new path ever fertile
These different fruits
Mature and ready
For the mind that's still...
Letting it all out in some way to feel through an uncertain future.
