Wind Horses
the legs
of horses kick at
the ground.
cutting wind's definition...
one on, thunderstruck.
driving into the awesome
arms of distance...
horizon lines drawn,
and redrawn.
they're going to to run
themselves to death.
they never look at one
another...their periphery's
a raging hide.
walling off what will not
come to rest.
the senses.
