Nov 2018
we are squeezed
into this crowded existence
snotty faces wailing for attention
when we grow into our bones
we lose our brave lungs
and our blotchy red cheeks
stretch into such long faces
full-grown features don't cry for help
we bite our meaty tounges
and taste the blood of our disgraces
what if every step we take, every shirt we wear and every word spoken is a prolonged scream from birth
