I saw the birth of a rainbow
On a stormy day in July
In a blaze of spectral hues
Spheres rose up from a rain soaked land
They stretched up in an arc of beauty
Bowing in front of a sunlit cloud
Then slowly they fell through the rain
Until they kissed the welcoming ground
