Heartbreak in the form of a crystal
The cheap kind
No, not the kind we drank kool aid from
On 113 degree afternoons
Cheaper than the cigarettes we smoked
And the trips we'd take
Yet it's cost me so much
You made excuses for the damage
Like it affected no one but you
It's shattered and cut us apart
You're running a thousand miles ahead of me
I don't think I can catch you
You left me behind in your clouded memory
How do I get back from here?
Now what do I do without you?
about losing a friend to drugs
