Noisy silence
Never relents
Bright darkness.
It's a blight
In my sight
With all my might
I'm still not right
Windy night.
I just feel numb.
I can't  hear my heart thump.
It's a dead stump.
But it's not your fault.
You just added salt.
That stain in my past.
Catches me at last.
Even as I stall.
I try not to fall.
But the ghosts are strong.
Was I wrong ?
