I just love when the
weekend comes around
one can forget about the
alarm clock's sound

the extra sleeping time on
Saturday and Sunday morn
is something to savour
as those days are born

work commitments can
have a good rest
cause I'm not at the
employer's behest

the hours now count
down till the weekend
where I shall be in
an idling trend
