I take a glance at your face,
And my heart ups the pace.
Nothing keeps me saddened-
When I see your eyes.
There is nothing I could possibly despise-
When I see your beauty.

All I want is someone who understands me,
Someone who hears my silent plea.
My invisible heart strikes at my feelings,
And I feel like I need a shoulder to cry on.

When I think of you,
I stop feeling used.
My heart almost speaks for me,
And my cheeks turn rose red.
All I want is someone to help me,
Dig me out of this hole I've dug.

I trend softly with my head hung,
Screaming without a sound.
If only you knew,
Then I'd stop feeling blue.
All I want is you.
This poem was written in 2014 about a girl I had liked in 8th grade at the time. Unfortunately, she didn't like it.
