You’re sweet and kind and it’s annoying
I just go about my day
I’m done with you
You don’t want to commit to me
You’re not interested in me
And that’s fine, I’m fine with that
Then my phone pings
Hi babe
And I just melt into this stagnant pool
Of longing and lust
My breathing becomes erratic
My heart is trying to break out for freedom
You’re sweet and kind and everything I need
