It might sound courageous
Or a bit naive
But I'm not incline
To simply agree
With subjective thoughts
Or allegories
I gather my objections
Empirically

My god is logic
And the goddess of love
No need to bow down
They fit like a glove
A creative heart
And a hungry soul
Are the gifts and curses
Of growing old...
