She fell in love on a Saturday
He left her 5 years later on the same Saturday
On their anniversary, what a love tragedy
Now Saturday’s became sadder days
Tears and fears opened up old scars
Needed something to blame so she opened her vault of insecurity, looking in the mirror she saw fear, welcomed tears
they came to stay
her face wet like the Nile River as she mourned the loss of her old lover
She sold her heart to him
While he only leased his heart to her
Down payments she made became priceless
Left alone feeling hurt and heartless
