Way
Sage salt cement pavement
A long walk
In my walking head
That head I let loose
Ponder where those people
A man woman two kids
In a sparse Toyota
That to me looks
Like a ball and chain
Where are they going
Where they been
They are happy I decide
Step forward walk look left
Down
Over into
Around
Why did those ants
Build their nest here
Exactly here
Why not two feet
Farther away from
The rumbling highway
And say inside
That other me the monitor
Voice
Just is
I pick up a can
Some person decided
To donate to the flora
And fauna
And wonder
Why are
What makes
People inconsiderate
Little eye my the
Other me answers
Just is
I amaze my body with feet
That stride and keep me up
With balance
Endless energy
A force
Turned sugar from a sweet
Powdered doughnut
Into energy
Without that other me
Even aware
Just happened
I walk on the grass
Next to the manmade
Sometimes
To thank my feet
And the sugars
That fuel me
And the world spins
And I go
Down the way
My salt sage
Concrete
Grass
