Crayon Colors
leap out of box
in child's eyes.
Hand reaches.
Lines disappear
Colors roam free
like jumping antelopes
cross field white.

Shades intermingle
with one another
Fingers dance.
Time dissipates.
Focus intensifies.
Perfection inside imperfection
is created as youngster smiles
proud of their colorful creation.

Proud as it hangs on a refrigerator door.
