I may be a joker
hiding inside deck
well fanned
but I am royalty.
Peering out when chance given.

I may be a joker,
inside a playing field of suits
often boxed for later use
or as a wild card fast and furious.

I may be a joker
but don't let that fool you
I am Daring and Debonair.
Sharp and Creative.
Useful and Beautiful.
Come look if dare.

If you look close I am all suits
Kings and queens look up to me
Spades come for my wand of happy.
Clubs are in shoes for magical strength.
Hearts upon hat warm inside loves.
And diamonds become fuel
for my boxed space ship.

A ship I travel with
when not used in game
when escape is necessary.

Yes I may be a joker but I’m a warrior
So don't underestimate me.
as I carry much wisdom
until my jovial face
breaks through.
