Dec 2017
You laughed at me and
called me names from the bed.
I held my head in my hands and
lamented each step that
brought me to your door.

In the morning, we kissed and
dressed together and
never acknowledged the
look in each other's eye.
You stuck out your tongue
in good humor while
this poem was dancing on mine.
