I won't resent you for the choice you make
But I'm one of the few people you know that's not a fake
Every breath you take
I cherish
I'll lay it out here
I'll fight, stomp and persevere
For you
No matter what
You are worth more than any jewel on this aging planet
But nobody loves you the way I do.
It's a disturbing thought
But I know the true art that lies in you
And I wish every day that I can be with it for life.
It's easy to sit on the couch
And wish you were next to me
But I'm not going to fixate on that
I must continue the foundation
I was applying before.
