Jul 2017
it rains
on the fire tonight
every drop stains
a doubt in my mind
potential in chains
mumbles for change
a dream in my head
drives me crazy
nothing is being said
flames trying to share
it’s just me
sitting with these chairs
my brain aches
there’s too much at stake
cities’ air
makes me suffocate
nature swears
fire does resuscitate

cold dream left alone
damp ashes have flown
warm dream come along
we’ll find our home
