Dim lights still glow
I left them on
For you only to know

Shedding lambency on my faults
I study stars jump out of planes
You see meteors do the same thing

Two wrongs make a pattern
One must fail
The uptick corkscrew found on this trail

We reach for starlight
You kept me on
It's bright out here

Connecting flights with lost signal
You flew to the wishing well
Stars still fall from planes
