to live fully, life to the full
in all its fullness be awake
to what life communicates

and what does she say?
what does she give?
what does she share?

it can seem that a shared cynicysm
is the way to live life
a recognition in the negative

but i would venture life is a vibrant song
giving freely of itself
a confirmation of love.
