Logic is telling me
that it's not worth it to be here

That the price outweighs the
Life that's been bought
That in Death there is no problem left to solve

The mathematical conclusion is simple
Logic says to run away with the variable
Enter the unknown

But there is more to life than logic
I'm not sure on which side of fortune this peculiar fate falls
But there is passion,

there is awe
as your eyes meet the stars
There is love
and its chains, fastening you ever tighter to the ground

There is so much more to this than logic
And so,
I will ignore the part of me calmly insisting that
It's best for us to leave
And struggle to breathe against forces greater than me

Bound here by my own gravity
