Frustration and disappointment
ganged-up on me,
then fear and anger jumped in -
suddenly, it became four against one.

I wanted, so much, for my mind
to throw the white towel in,
but it was too late
because my heart got knocked-out!
Hence, for my soul, it was lights out!
~ The four of them won.
