Dec 2016
There was once a young man
Wise beyond his years
Who talked of death
And how he had traveled it.

He said that death
Was not to be feared, but embraced
As something we have earned.
Our badge of honor as mortals.

A source of pride
In those far distant planes,
Where light and dark
Stretch unending.

After all he would say,
"We were the only ones brave enough
To plunge into mortality willingly."
