When the sun came up,
The ocean ate her.
She sat on the beach
and patiently waited.

Starlight spoke to her,
Before the sun took over.
Planted the seed deep,
She'd be dead at dusk.

Fear has a sour taste,
She never got used to it.
Anticipation made her sick,
Ignorance helped it grow.

The shore was serene,
The sea was on fire.
Her feet were frigid,
Her body soon followed.
